My Car Driving challenges _Part 2

 Driving or racing

I often wonder why people can't wait on the road without honking.  I don't mind at all if someone passes me because everyone is in such a hurry.  I used to travel at my own pace, and occasionally I grow weary of those who frighten me by passing quickly, especially those who ride motorcycles.

Parking:-

It can be difficult to find appropriate parking in congested areas.  For me, parallel parking is challenging, but reverse parking is fairly simple.  I'm working hard to get the hang of it; I can do it when there are no cars in front of or behind me, but it's difficult on narrow, crowded lanes because there are no painted lines.  We must pay hourly parking fees when we visit shopping centers, temples, or other tourist destinations.

Regenerative Braking:-

As ours is an EV model, our car has this feature. It helps us to improve mileage of our car. It is nothing but Self braking System, if we remove out foot slightly from acceleration it brakes mildly and reduce our speed gradually no need to step on brake pedal unless you actually need. This help to charge our car when ever we release acceleration. But when our car is 100 percent charged regenerative braking will not work until our car battery becomes 95%. Those times are really tough as we are used up for this braking tough to bring to practice especially in heavy traffic times backside drivers starts honking....

Still I have not travelled more than 100 kms ...that is not tried traveling to native place in our car as we need to charge on way we need a proper plan to execute it.

Recently we encountered rat issue in our  car so I have installed a ultrasonic sound machine in engine. But still couldn't fix it.

One day, while returning home after attending a function, we were caught in a heavy downpour. The rain was so intense that we could barely see the road ahead. Instead of taking a chance, I carefully pulled over onto the service road, switched on the parking lights, and waited until the rain stopped . That day reminded me that reaching home safely is always more important than reaching quickly.

In the beginning, night driving felt a little tough.Today, I can drive at night with much more confidence.Although It's a small milestone, but one thing that i appreciate myself is how practice slowly replaces fear.

Before we bought our car, I used to imagine long drives with feel-good songs playing in the background. Reality, however, is a little different. With today's traffic, I find that music distracts me, so I prefer driving in silence. For me, staying focused and alert is far more enjoyable than any listening to playlist.

Driving has taught me that ,confidence doesn't come from speed or distance, it comes from patience, responsibility, and making safe choices every single time.

Happy Driving....😊

Some years I wrote only one post, and a few years I didn’t write at all, as life demanded more time to focus on what mattered most. Now that my sons are grown up, I’m finding a little extra time to pen my thoughts again.

Feelings that felt heavy and confusing somehow become lighter once they are written down.

Writing has also taught me patience, preseverence.

Not every thought needs to be shared immediately. Some ideas need time to ripen. Some emotions need distance before they make sense. Looking back at old entries, I can see how much time changes perspective  how certainty softens, and how worries that once felt permanent quietly lost their power.

When I read old posts, I meet past versions of myself  hopeful, confused, confident, afraid. I don’t always agree with them, but I understand them better now. That alone feels like growth.

Above all, writing has taught me that showing up matters more than perfection.

More to come...........stay tuned......
