Here's a journal entry that weaves in today's milestone naturally:
A Day of Gratitude
August 1st 2026
Today has been a truly special day ,one that I know I will always cherish.
As we successfully completed the Sampoorna Narayaneeyam, my heart was filled with an indescribable sense of peace, gratitude, and joy. What makes this day even more memorable is that it also marks my 100th blog post. It feels as though these two milestones were meant to come together, reminding me how beautifully life unfolds through His grace.
When I look back, I see a little girl who simply loved listening to Krishna stories. Every Sunday, our family would gather to watch Mahabharat on Doordarshan. The title song, "Idhuthan Mahabharata Kathai", still lingers in my heart, carrying the warmth of those precious childhood memories.
Krishna Jayanthi was always my favorite celebration. I would happily draw tiny Krishna footprints around the house, imagining Him walking into our home. My sister would dress up as Krishna, and I would become Radha. Those moments of innocence and devotion are memories we continue to treasure.
At that time, I never imagined that those small expressions of love would one day blossom into a lifelong spiritual journey. Looking back now, I realize that every story I heard, every song I sang, every footprint I drew, and every prayer I whispered quietly nurtured my bond with Krishna.
By His infinite grace, I have now completed learning all 100 Dasakams (1034 verses) of the Narayaneeyam. And today, with the completion of the Sampoorna Narayaneeyam and my 100th blog post, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude. These are not accomplishments I can claim as my own they are blessings that He has lovingly allowed me to experience.
My heart bows in gratitude to Lord Krishna, to my gurus, my parents, my family, and to My dear friend bhagavathy who has been part of this wonderful journey. I pray that this devotion continues to grow, that I remain humble, and that every word I write and every prayer I chant becomes an offering at His lotus feet.
We celebrated the Sampoornam with a day long chanting of full Narayaneeyam, 1034 verses with a group of women chanted together along with Pooja and neivedhyam at the end of each Dasakam.
Planning to share exact preparation list for Sampurna narayaneeyam event, executions and happenings of the day in detail in my upcoming posts.
