All our vacations so far was busy going to natives either or stay at home for summer classes, but this year as my DH was working @ abudhabi, we planned for 2 months trip.
Both of my kids were very excited, my younger son particularly as it was his first abroad trip, also both were too excited to meet their dad after ling time.
We reached airport @ chennai by 6.00 three hours before flight and we checked in on time n took pictures @ airport before boarding flight.
We boarded our Ethihad flight and flight started on time and reached abudhabi airport on time. My sons went running seeing their dad, thought capturing video of those lovely moments but couldn't do sо .
Here am sharing the places we visited in abudhabi and dubai during our vacation.
@ Abudhabi
1. Desert Safari
We visited Heritage village and spent time in Marina Mall with kids. We booked a desert safari tour and eagerly waited for the day. It was really a fantastic day was so excited to go on sand dunes, our driver gave us memorable and safer experience of dunes blashing. We stood on a Desert environment for first time and also enjoyed seeing and feeding camels closer. Later we reached a place with a centre stage surrounded by majilis.
Our kids dressed up like an emirati and took pictures with falcon, Later me and my elder son enjoyed riding on a camel, i remembered the song katre en vasal vandhai song from
rhythm tamil movie, so nice n wonderful experience, finally when our ride got over the instructor ordered camel to sit, we felt too scared of the tilting front movement of camel to sit we thought we would fell down, because camel first bends its front legs before sitting.
Later i had arabic mehendi on my hands, later we watched belly dance and tanoura dance show along with dinner. Highlight of desert safari is finally when we ended our tour all lights were switched off and we got opportunity to see the night sky with stars. very memorable day for our family.
2. Emirates Park Zoo
We started earlier to reach zoo early as it was summer season and all animals will go inside by 11 due to hot weather. we saw rabbits, tortoise,peacocks, monkeys.
We got opportunity to feed zeebras and Giraffes kids were too excited to take a closer look.
Later we saw elephants show and my son got oppurtunity to play ball with elephant. finally we got opportunity to feed bananas to elephant with family. But i felt that elephants of asia show at singapore will also be good to see elephants carrying logs and playing and splashing water i got that memories too.
Later we saw parrot show and sea lion show very nice to watch and kids loved to see.
We saw white tigers, bengal tiger , leopards, cheetah and finally king of jungle the lion. Overall we all enjoyed zoo trip nicely.finally we took pictures with arabian owl.

@ Dubai- Day -1
We went on a two days trip to dubai, from abudhabi we went by bus, it was a two hours journey..... We booked for a taxi tour around dubai so our guide was waiting at dubai. We went around all places like beach, souqs, museum, dubai marina, palm jumeirah, and palm atlantis. Finally we were left in a place where burj khalifa is located.
We didnt go to tower top of burj khalifa as we already booked for under water aquarium
we reached our hotel but we got to know that both of our passport needed to check in the hotel, we had only my Dh id and it is not sufficient to check in...... as we were unaware we got to look for other hotels, so we had lunch @ sangeetha hotel alghurair, but currently that hotel is not there i mean last year 2018.
Later we got one hotel who accepted scan id copy of my passport we took rest for some time later we got ready for our Dhow cruise buffet dinner.
Really it was so nice to see night view, we hopped in upper deck so we could enjoy nicely ........we saw a magic show and tanoura dance show, i wonder how that person danced that perfectly in a small place....only disadvantage of the trip is as we were on upper deck we got our dinner very late. so many of us were very upset as most of us travelled with kids my younger one who never sleep that easily slept early listening to music....We had a good time though.
Day 2: Dubai
We got ready and had our breakfast in sangeetha and went to dubai dolphinarium.
the show was awesome and mind blowing.....kids were engaged nice manner they all did a dance for chic chic song.
Dolphin trainers were real heroes of the shows. A must watch show with kids once in lifetime.....we got pictures with dolphins kissing my kids palms, very nice moment.
We couldnot see creek park parrot show as that day there is no show better to check in advance to get view of both shows together. but we got opportunity to feed para keets.
Later we had some lunch there and visited childrens city which is located on same place near dolphinarium. here kids got chance to ride their vehicle around the park for an hour
We saw childrens city science museum very nice and lovely to see all exhibits.
we saw many there but posting only few pictures as a memory of the place we saw.
